Pffff, everybody is on leave… how successful will a modest post about the #RGESN (or perhaps I should say #GPFEDS in English) be? Because I have a great news : I have posted the English version on a #WebPage.

The general policy framework for the ecodesign of digital services was thus drafted by Arcep and Arcom in collaboration with ADEME. Direction interministérielle du numérique (DINUM) (the Inter-ministerial Directorate in charge of the State’s digital transformation), the Internet freedoms and innovation watchdog, CNIL - Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés, and the National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology, Inria, also made a significant contribution to this policy framework.

You know that an English version already exists (in #PDF format) on the Arcep website. It is difficult to quickly access each criterion with this version. Something had to be done to share the content.

And, yes, large French companies are trying to apply these standards to their subsidiaries in different countries. It is very interesting to disseminate the content. What better way than the web?

The #RGESN is now available in HTML format, but also in JSON format on my organization’s repository: Lowdit on Github.

Lowdit is a digital commons. The repository is structured so that as many translations as desired can be added: Spanish, German, Italian, etc.
